1. Players who have a written medical request (doctors note) for the need to use a buggy to participate in a competition.  This document will need to be viewed only by the Competitions Secretary. It is not necessary for any other member of the club or employee of HPL to see it and no paper copy will be held on file.

2. In exceptional circumstances and at the discretion and agreement of the Captain/Officer of the day, the use of a buggy may be allowed for any player who has not submitted a written medical statement'

3. Any player who has a drivers 'Blue Badge'.

Winter Buggy Usage

In extreme wet weather the use of a buggy may be restricted. HPL will be operating a two-stage review depending on how wet and dangerous the course is.

1. Buggies will be restricted to golfers with a doctor’s note unable to walk the course without a buggy and any player who has a drivers 'Blue Badge'.

2. Buggies will be stopped going on the course completely due to damage to the course, and for health & safety reasons due to heavy and extreme wet weather.

Buggy and Trolley Winter Usage Policy

During the winter months, posts and ropes may be positioned around areas of the course to alleviate the wear around the tees and greens due to the extreme weather.

The winter month usage policy will apply for pull trolleys, electric trolleys, and buggies.
